I like the split-knob control for both the Rhythm level and the Loop level in one place. And having a ‘Beat Sense’ capability is a huge bonus in any loop pedal.
Any time there is a ‘Control In’ on any pedal, you’d be crazy not to utilize it, and the Loop Core Deluxe is no exception. It’s available in a bundled package that includes the Nu-X NMP-2 Dual Foot Switch and a TRS connector cable, which will add all kinds of awesome to your performance. We highly recommend going with the Bundle offering if it’s available. It’ll scroll you up or down thru your memories on the fly.
The NMP-2 foot switch in the bundled version has a mode selector switch and two connector ports to allow a variety of ways the external switches can be used, with an assortment of other gear.

As mentioned earlier, there are 3 Stop Modes available to toggle thru, using the Stop Mode button near the top of the control panel:
- Normal Stop -Double Tap =Instant Stop
- Finish Mode -Double Tap =Play to end of measure
- Fade Out Mode -Double Tap =Ten Second Fade Out
USB Connectivity is a Mini-B USB, to import, Export, and Back up files. Files must be 24 Bit, 44.1Khz Wav files in order to be recognized.
There are several output configurations available as well, that can add some impressive tonal control options that can leave your band mates somewhat jealous and your audience impressed at how good you can sound! You’ll be able to choose between ‘Frequency Compensation/Cab Sim’ output, where your Drums/Rhythm are output from the ‘To Amp’ jack to an amplifier with Frequencies adjusted for an amp, while the Guitar & Loops will be sent thru ‘To Mixer’ to your house mixer, utilizing the Cab Sim effect. Alternatively, you can Toggle the pedal to Not
adjust your sound at all, whereby the Guitar & loops are sent from the ‘To Amp’ jack to your Amplifier unaffected, and the Drums/Rhythm are output from the ‘To Mixer’ jack to your mixer. To select your desired output configuration, hold down the Rhythm button while powering on the pedal. You’ll see either ‘F3’ appear in the display, or ‘Fr’ to indicate which setting you have selected.
Another hidden feature is the ability to select either True Bypass or Buffered Bypass mode. To toggle this mode, hold down the ‘Stop Mode’ button while powering on the pedal.
More information, user guides, File Conversion apps, specs and more are all available at the Nu-X website. You’ll definitely want to download the user manual and keep it on hand so you’ll be able to make any adjustments as needed when you’re out playing anywhere. There’s several ways you can use and configure this pedal and several hidden settings you’ll occasionally want to change unexpectedly, and there are a few button combinations during power-up that you’ll be wanting to look up once in a while.
Lets call this pedal a good versatile piece of gear to keep in your arsenal for all sorts of occasions !! Even if you’re a busker out on the street, this pedal would be great and it even comes with a 9v battery to get you started.
