In keeping with previous incarnations of the smaller footprint TC Electronic Ditto Loopers, the Ditto Stereo pedal retains the usual True-Bypass and Analogue Dry-Thru that keeps your tone as clean as possible, and a 24-bit audio quality to make your loops sound their best. USB connectivity allows you to perform firmware updates, import/export your tracks to a DAW, or upload backing tracks (from StarJam) into the pedal for you to jam along or work with saved loops. The new Stereo In/Out offers a little more flexibility and usability in regards to routing, spacial effects & sound imagery. You can either work with full stereo instruments and full stereo outputs, or you can utilize a Dual-Mono mode, where you’ll be able to use the two independent inputs for two different instruments, and they can be directed to two separate outputs. With five minutes of looping time, unlimited overdubs and undo/redo standard single foot switch operation & functionality, this pedal will take you a long way into the world of more advanced looping.
Possibly the best new feature of the Ditto Stereo is that it now can run a a 9v battery, where all the previous small Ditto pedals could not. This might mean that you can now go busking downtown and blow people away, or you can plug in a power adapter and play for days on end!!
