Possibly the smallest looper pedal I’ve seen, the Rowin Tiny Looper is well worth the small price tag it comes with! This very quiet pedal has just about all the features you’d expect in this category of looper.
Made of a Zinc alloy, It’s refered to as a Nano Looper due to its tiny size. There’s 10 minutes of looping time with unlimited overdubbing available. You can connect to your computer for file transfer via the USB C port, and a short USB cable is supplied. Be sure to check the Rowin website for software and updates.
As with almost all single foot switch loopers in the category, operation is as follows:
Press the foot switch once to start recording, press once again to stop recording & begin playback. If the looper is currently playing it’s track, then pressing the foot switch once again will begin an overdubbing process. Pressing once again goes into playback with the new layer(s) as well. Each successive time you press the Foot Switch once, it will record another layer or return to playback with that new layer.
While the looper is playing the track WITH any overdubs, press & hold the foot switch to Undo the Overdub. You can REDO that overdub by rep
eating the Press & hold WHILE the track(s) are playing. (Provided you haven’t added any further new layers). When you Undo a layer, you can then either bring it back with REDO, or you can create another new layer & continue your performance, in which case the layer that was undone becomes irretrievable.
Press the foot switch twice (fairly quickly) at any time to immediately stop playing all the layers simultaneously.
When the looper is NOT currently playing anything, press & hold the foot switch to clear the track & all its layers. (This is not reversible)
There is no battery power option and it does not normally come with the 9v center-N power adapter you’ll need.
There’s only a few of these little pedals around, so grab one quick!!
