The Boss RC-505 was the Flagship Tabletop Loop Station in it’s day. Tho still using 16-bit, 44.1 Khz Recording, it was the most advanced of Boss’s line-up until a new generation of Looping equipment came out in the following years, that finally stepped up to 32 Bit Floating Point recording. For it’s day, this was a fantastic Loop Station with few rivals.

The RC-505 offered:

  • Midi In/Out -5 Pin DIN x 2 (Does NOT support Midi Notes)

  • Onboard Effects (Input, Track and Master Fx)

  • 16 Assigns available (with Firmware v2.0 & higher)
