Outlaw Effects Lasso Looper – Release Date: June 2016
Outlaw Effects, a manufacture of micro-sized pedals, offers up a basic little loop pedal called the Lasso.
With a generous 10 minutes of looping time, the Lasso provides unlimited overdubs, 24 bit, 44.1KHz sampling rate, and true bypass switching, this looper pedal is on par with it’s competetors. The aluminum alloy chassis with staggered input & output make this pedal a tough and unintrusive addition to your pedal board.
However good this pedal is, it is overshadowed by the glaring omission of any Undo/Redo capability. Thats unfortunate, so be aware if you’re considering this otherwise great pedal.
The Lasso comes with a USB cable for connection to your computer to facilitate file Import/Export. Documentation and Software for Windows/Mac is available HERE at the Outlaw website.
This Lasso does not come with a power supply and there is no battery compartment, so you’ll need to have your own standard power supply:
9vdc, 2.1mm centre negative, and needs about 100ma)
Be sure your power source is well over the required 100ma needed to power the pedal)
Sorry, this pedal does not offer any Undo/Redo functionality, according to documentation ….
